I was recently commissioned to photograph the catering service provided at a birthday event in Milfield, Northumberland. Boldon Farmhouse Pantry (www.boldonfarmhousepantry.co.uk) provided the food, staff and linen and the event was attended by 60 guests in addition to a Northumbrian pipes player.
Food served included cod loin with a tapenade crust, beef sirloin with a red wine jus, potato dauphinoise and buttered greens, but the highlight for the guests was the dessert - lychee and lime jelly, mango & mint salad, espresso posset, and cinnamon & vanilla mascarpone feuillete.
